Perennial plant of about 80-100 cm tall, erect branched stems and yellowish flowers.
The entire plant is hairless and exudes a strong and pleasant odor that resembles the smell of celery and fennel.
The leaves and flowers at the upper end of the branches are used as a condiment to flavor sauces and salads.
